Capable of powering a facility up to 1,200 square feet, it's designed for base camps and long-stay environments. Charge via wall, solar panels or car adapter and use as a primary source of power for lighting, cooling and accessories. Stack up to three additional Extreme batteries and get a total of 1,600 watt-hours of power. Mission accomplished.

This system would also make an excellent back-up system in areas with inconsistent services. I've spent time in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Jamaica, volunteering at an orphanage where we just hoped we had power and water every day. To have a backup system (and to be able to add on to it to make it a primary power source) would be excellent.
